The Women's softball team just got back for the spring break road trip to Florida where they played 10 games. During there trip they accumulated an overall record of 1-9. The team faced a tough schedule playing in 5 double headers in only one week down south.

New York Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte might miss his first scheduled start of the season due to back spasms, according to The Associated Press.
Pettitte was scratched from a minor-league game Saturday after experiencing tightness in his back.
"I was feeling pretty good last night," Pettitte told the AP.

The baseball team returned from Orlando, Florida, on March 22 and brought back a 3-6 record.
"It was a long trip - a very, very, very long trip," Coach Jeff Puleri said. "Sometimes they happen that way."
After arriving in Florida on March 13, the Trailblazers immediately started playing ball.

A true, die-hard Red Sox fan would have woken up Monday morning at 6 a.m., showered, made breakfast, threw on their Red Sox jersey and hat, sat on the couch, and got ready for the opening day ceremonies and first win of the young season...I did not.
For those who are morning people and could wake up that early to watch the Sox in Japan, I applaud you for your loyalty.

Massachusetts lightweight (155-pound) mixed martial artists Kenny Florian and Joe Lauzon headline the main event at UFC Fight Night 13, coming April 2.
Florian was born in Westwood, Mass.; Lauzon hails from Brockton.
In addition, both fighters have been members of "The Ultimate Fighter," the Ultimate Fighting Championship's reality television program designed to introduce new blood into the franchise.
